Created by Michelle Waite in 2007 in the small town of Broke NSW, BARE Nature’sKin products will leave your skin & soul feeling nourished and alive.

Michelle’s organic and sustainable way of living flow in to her products. She harvests her own herbs, flowers, seeds, minerals and will make use of any other gift nature provides. Whether she is milking her goats or tending to her pigs, this woman leaves you deeply inspired about what is truly possible when we become one with nature.

Michelle also hosts regular wellness workshops facilitated by renowned Pat Collins. Check the website for upcoming workshop dates.

Alpaca Farm (e-bike hire here!)

Visitors are welcome to the farmstay to experience the wondrous and curious alpacas, discovering each of their unique personalities. Visitors and able to enter their enclosure and get an up-close and hands-on experience, even hand feeding them.

The Alpaca Encounter and Feeding Experience is open to bookings each Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday; including public holidays, not including Christmas Day. We hold 4 sessions per day between 10am and 4pm. Sessions are available to be booked two months in advance. The Alpaca Encounter and Feeding Experience is an outdoor event, and is open in all weather conditions*.



Hot Air Ballooning

Beyond Ballooning is a family owned and operated business based in the Hunter Valley. The flight team are local to the valley and have a true passion for ballooning and providing the best hot air balloon experience in Australia.

    Hunter Valley Zoo

    Get up close and personal with a variety of animal encounters at Hunter Valley Zoo.

    Hunter Valley Wildlife Park is located in the Heart of the Valley on Lomas Lane, Nulkaba which is only 5 minutes from Cessnock.

    Baiame Caves

    This is a very sacred spot that is of a huge significance to the Wonnarua Nation. It is a wonderful experience to take in the surroundings and think about how it once was the great gathering spot of many groups that lived near and far.

    Broke Village Market + Events

    A community market held on the first Sunday of the month at Stewart McTaggart park Broke NSW. There are a range of local handcrafted stalls, arts and crafts, food and drinks.

    Vintage Car Fair. Every September there's a large village fair with a huge variety of vintage cars.

    Every March there's 'A little bit of Broke' festival. 

    Hunter Lavender Farm

    Hunter Lavender grow their lavender using organic methods of farming. They combine permaculture and holistic management techniques to produce top quality lavenders without causing harm to the environment.

    Situated in the tranquil side of the Hunter Valley, with fields of lavender blending with the surrounding vineyards against a backdrop of the majestic Yellow Rock Escarpment and the Brokenback Ranges.

    The Farm offers a range of experiences from lavender field walks, to picnics, to bee keeping / honey harvest.
